Hojas de estilo auditivo
Las hojas de estilo auditivo utilizan una combinación de síntesis de voz y efectos de sonido para que el usuario escuche la información, en lugar de leerla.
La presentación auditiva se puede utilizar:
- por personas ciegas
- para ayudar a los usuarios a aprender a leer
- para ayudar a los usuarios que tienen problemas de lectura
- para el entretenimiento en el hogar
- en el coche
- por comunidades con problemas de lectura
La presentación auditiva convierte el documento en texto sin formato y lo envía a un lector de pantalla (un programa que lee todos los caracteres en la pantalla).
Un ejemplo de una hoja de estilo Aural:

El ejemplo anterior hará que el sintetizador de voz reproduzca un sonido y luego pronuncie los encabezados con una voz masculina muy rica.
