El objeto Input Text representa un elemento HTML <input> con type="text".

Puede acceder a un elemento <input> con type="text" usando getElementById():

var x = document.getElementById("myText");

Sugerencia: también puede acceder a <input type="text"> buscando en la colección de elementos de un formulario.

Puede crear un elemento <input> con type="text" usando el método document.createElement():

var x = document.createElement("INPUT");
x.setAttribute("type", "text");
